Sakakawea - May 26

The post-spawn bite at New Town is fully on now. Lots of limits of fish from 10-20 feet of water depending on the day. Jigs and minnows can work most days and others the Lindy or bottom bouncer is a little better. Moving 0.5-0.8 mph has been productive for most. Fish are closer to the marina now too, so one doesn't have to haul up to White Earth.

The east side had a decent post-spawn bite a few days and other days it has been spotty. Very nice fish there, bigger than New Town area on average, but it takes more work for sure. Lake Audubon has been good too, especially for pre-spawn bass, but also walleye.

Haven't personally been to the Deepwater area yet, but if other major bays are going, I'd guess there may be some activity soon if not already.
